Winter Wonderland - Shift 2
YOUR ACTIVITY: Bring the holidays to families transitioning out of homelessness! Join our team of elves for a festive celebration where we’ll have delicious food, gifts, holiday-themed activities, Santa Claus, and a lot more. Whether you're up for lending a hand with activities, checking participants in, or just being part of the fun, your help would make a huge difference.
This is the second shift of the event, running from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
YOUR IMPACT: Let's face it - the holidays are expensive and families transitioning out of homelessness may not have all the resources needed to make the holidays special. By lending us a hand with the different components of this party, you can help provide a joyful holiday our families.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Volunteers must be 14+. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- Must be able to carry 15lbs
- Must complete Volunteer Seminar + Training
- Must not have received LA Family Housing services for a year.
- Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
- Only bring items that you can keep with you, as there won't be storage available.
- If you're not feeling well and need to cancel, please inform us so we can remove you from the volunteer list.
- If you intend to bring a friend, ensure they're registered. Only those on the volunteer list will have access to the event.

Important - did you know that up to 50% of volunteers who sign up do not show up? This can leave us very short-handed! We ask that if you claim a volunteer spot, you commit to showing up and helping us out. You'll have a great time - we promise!
