Youth Volunteer Opportunities

Get those service hours in or become the next Malala Yousafzai or Greta Thunberg by becoming a youth volunteer!  Please check out our opportunities below for volunteers under age 18.

Donate Hygiene Kits (all ages)

Provide people experiencing homelessness with the basics like hygiene necessities (soap, underwear, etc.)  You can purchase these items yourself, ask your friends/family/workplace for help, do a birthday drive - the sky is the limit!

Youth Action Council (ages 14 - 18)

Through a combination of education, advocacy, and service projects, you'll get a deeper understanding of homelessness, gain leadership experience, and know that you are actively improving the lives of people experiencing homelessness.  You'll also get to hang out with 20 other likeminded high-schoolers from across LA!  Applications open in January and sessions run February - May.

Organize and Sort Donations (ages 14+)

Volunteer, listen to music, and get a good workout in all at one time! We occasionally receive whole truckloads of donated items and we need your help sorting, organizing, and packing these items so we can get them back out to our participants right away.

Sandwich Making (all ages)

Are you looking for a way to help those experiencing homelessness in your community? One great way to make an impact is by organizing a sandwich-making event. All you need are some bread, meat, cheese, and other toppings, and you're ready to go.
