Sandwich Making
YOUR ACTIVITY: LAFH needs you to make Sandwiches! Volunteers are needed to make sandwiches for LAFH's outreach efforts. Volunteers would purchase the necessary ingredients to assemble sandwiches at their living place and deliver them to LAFH. Preferred sandwiches include Peanut butter and jelly, Ham and cheese, and turkey. Please be aware that if you are participating in this volunteer opportunity to fulfill volunteering hours, every 20 sandwiches equals 1 hour of volunteering. We do not fulfill court-ordered volunteer hours. If you need a donation receipt, please inform us.
DELIVERY
We are only accepting donations Monday-Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
YOUR IMPACT: In making these sandwiches, you are aiding our outreach team to build trust and bridge connections to further assistance. Your contributions will help our unhoused neighbors leave with a full stomach and an even fuller heart.

- Must be able to purchase the ingredients to make the sandwiches. LAFH will not be providing ingredients for you to make the sandwiches.
- Must be able to assemble the sandwiches at your place of residence or other location other than LAFH facilities.
- Must be able to deliver sandwiches to our LAFH office during selected hours of operation. We will not be able to pick up donations. Before you drop off any sandwiches, please email Volunteer@LAFH.org to confirm the date and time of your drop-off and the quantity of sandwiches delivered. Below are acceptable days and times to schedule a delivery to LAFH.
- TIMES OF DELIVERY: Monday-Thursday from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM
- Must be individually wrapped.
- We will accept the following sandwiches:
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Ham
- Turkey
