Winter Wonderland - Volunteers Needed
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us. We are currently at Capacity with volunteers. If you'd like to be added to our waitlist, please click the "Add to Waitlisting List" button below and we will reach out to you once a spot opens up.
YOUR ACTIVITY: Bring the holidays to families transitioning out of homelessness! Join our team of elves for a festive celebration where we’ll have delicious food, gifts, holiday-themed activities, Santa Claus, and a lot more. Whether you're up for lending a hand with activities, checking participants in, or just being part of the fun, your help would make a huge difference.
This is the first shift of the event, running from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM
YOUR IMPACT: Let's face it - the holidays are expensive and families transitioning out of homelessness may not have all the resources needed to make the holidays special. By lending us a hand with the different components of this party, you can help provide a joyful holiday our families.
REQUIREMENTS:
- After signing up, please complete this form (https://forms.office.com/r/FxKRJUPKZc) to let us know about your role preference. If it's not completed, we'll assign you any role that needs support.
- Volunteers must be 14+. All minors must be accompanied by a parent.
- Must complete Volunteer Seminar + Training
- Must not have received LA Family Housing services for a year.
REMINDERS:
- Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
- Only bring items that you can keep with you, as there won't be storage available.
- If you need to cancel, please inform us so we can remove you from the volunteer list.
- If you intend to bring a friend, please ensure they're registered. Only those on the volunteer list will have access to the event.
