Thanksgiving Meal Bag Sorting & Prep
YOUR ACTIVITY:
Help us prepare Thanksgiving Meal Bags for families transitioning out of homelessness by sorting through donations and assembling bags. Volunteers will check expiration dates, dispose of any damaged or leaking items, and then pack meal essentials into reusable shopping bags for distribution.
YOUR IMPACT:
The holidays can be especially difficult for those experiencing or transitioning out of homelessness. By volunteering your time, you’re helping ensure that every donated item is safe, fresh, and ready to bring joy to a family’s holiday table. Each bag you help prepare makes a direct difference for families in need of comfort and stability during the season.
REQUIREMENTS:

Volunteers 14+ are welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult).

This is an in-person volunteer activity.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10–15 lbs is helpful.
We do not fulfill court-ordered volunteer hours.
